Sunset Bay is part privately owned and part timeshare with a glowing reputation. It’s really popular in the winter months for the older generation wishing to escape the winters back home, and equally popular with family’s during the hot summer months. So it’s an all year round busy complex.
The properties on this complex seem to be much bigger inside and out than surrounding complexes like Santa Maria and Orlando. The facilities on site are very good, with two swimming pools, a children’s play area, and a good selection of bars and restaurant’s right on the doorstep. There is also a laundrette, and a couple of mini markets open till late should you need anything.
The community fees on this complex are some of the lowest in the area, yet you would not think so, if you see how many staff work on keeping it very clean and tidy.
Properties at Sunset Bay which become available for sale range from one bed studios, as well as two beds and even three beds apartments. Generally, prices can range from 140,000 euros to over 300,000 euros.
One downside to this complex is that you might find it a little steep in some areas. There are not many elevators, so don’t be surprised if you have to walk up a slope, then around 20 steps to get to the front door. Yet, once you are inside you will find that most properties offer a very good view.
We like this complex and especially that there is always something going on, not just entertainment for the children but also night time entertainment from the bars at the square. To give an idea of where in the South it’s situated, then it’s around 20 minutes from the airport, at a cost of 25 euros by cab.
